OUR STORY

Where Science Meets Beauty — And Your Pharmacist Knows Both

Since 1970, Bay Harbor RX has served this community with a distinctly European vision of pharmacy — one where wellness, beauty, and personalized care are inseparable. Today, under the leadership of pharmacist and owner Adam Hasid, that vision has evolved into Miami's only concierge pharmacy and luxury beauty bar.

One Standard.
One Neighborhood.
Over Five Decades of Care.

Bay Harbor RX has been a fixture of this community since 1970 — long before "concierge pharmacy" was a phrase anyone used. From the beginning, the store was built on a distinctly European idea: that a pharmacy should be more than a place to pick up prescriptions. It should be a destination for wellness, beauty, thoughtfully chosen gifts, and the kind of personal attention that makes you feel known.

For decades, that vision drew neighbors, families, and visitors through our doors. Then, in 2013, pharmacist Adam Hasid took the reins — and elevated everything.

Adam saw what the original founders had built and recognized its rare potential. A neighborhood pharmacy with genuine soul, a loyal community, and a philosophy that was ahead of its time. Rather than modernize it into something generic, he sharpened the original vision: deeper pharmaceutical expertise, a curated collection of medical-grade skincare and luxury beauty, non-sterile compounding capabilities, and a concierge approach to care that treats every customer as an individual.

The result is Bay Harbor RX as it exists today — a store with over half a century of neighborhood trust, now powered by the clinical rigor and curatorial eye of a pharmacist who genuinely believes your health and beauty deserve the same level of care.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

No Two People Are the Same. Neither Should Their Care Be.

At Bay Harbor RX, your health and beauty aren't treated as separate conversations. They're one. Your skin reacts to your medications. Your supplements interact with your prescriptions. The retinoid your dermatologist recommended needs to work with the SPF you're wearing under Miami's relentless sun.

We connect these dots — because we're one of the only places that can.

Our philosophy is built on three principles:

Pharmacist-Curated, Always.
Every product we carry — from medical-grade serums to luxury fragrances — has earned its place on our shelves through rigorous vetting. We don't follow trends. We follow the science, and then we make sure it feels beautiful to use.

Personalized to You.
We don't do one-size-fits-all. Our team takes the time to understand your health history, your skin concerns, your lifestyle, and your goals. Then we build a regimen that works — for you, specifically.

The Full Picture.
Prescriptions, compounding, skincare, supplements, wellness. Most places handle one of these well. We handle all of them, together, so nothing falls through the cracks.

THE PHARMACIST BEHIND THE COUNTER

A Pharmacist Who Believes Your Health and Beauty Deserve the Same Expertise

Adam Hasid isn't the kind of pharmacist who hands you a bag and moves on to the next customer. He's the kind who asks what else you're taking, what your skin has been doing lately, and whether that new supplement is actually doing what you think it is.

Since taking ownership of Bay Harbor RX in 2013, Adam has transformed a beloved neighborhood pharmacy into something rare: a true concierge health and beauty destination. He personally curates the store's product selection — from medical-grade skincare to professional supplements — vetting every brand for ingredient integrity, clinical evidence, and real-world results.

His background in pharmacy gives him something no beauty advisor or retail associate can offer: the ability to see the full picture. He understands how your prescriptions interact with your topicals, which actives complement each other, and which combinations to avoid. It's a level of guidance that most people didn't know was available outside of a specialist's office.

For Adam, the job has always been personal. He lives in the community he serves, he knows his customers by name, and he treats every recommendation as if he were making it for his own family.
